Who is actually doing the work? Some companies subcontract installation. Ask whether the crew on your property works for the company you hired, and how long they have been doing this.
Where do the materials come from? A company that manufactures or assembles its own fencing has control over grading, fit, and finish. A company reselling stock panels is limited to what arrives on the truck.
What happens if something is wrong? Ask what the labor warranty covers and how long it lasts. Ours is two years on labor, and we would rather explain that clearly up front than after the fact.
The answers should be specific. Vague responses to any of these three questions are worth paying attention to.
