Please see below for our most common questions in regards to mailbox posts and lantern posts.

  • Is shipping available?

    All items are available for pickup only at our Pembroke, MA location. 

  • What are the lantern and mailbox posts made out of?

    They are built with hollow vinyl posts ranging in size from 4” up to 6.5”. 

  • What height do mailbox posts need to be installed at?

    They should be installed so that the bottom of the mailbox is between 41 – 45” above the road. 

  • How tall are the lantern posts?

    They are built to be 6’ 6” tall from the bottom of the ground to the base of the lantern. The post should be installed into the ground approx 30-32” deep. 

  • What size light will fit on the lantern post collar?

    The lantern post collar will fit a 3” light top, which is the most common size used on post lights.  

  • Do I need to cement the post?

    No, mailbox and lantern posts do not need to be cemented. You can use the same dirt you dig out from the hole to tamp the post in place.   

  • What color do the mailbox posts and lantern posts come in?

    All styles are offered in white only. 

  • Is installation included with the purchase of a mailbox or lantern post?

    Installation is not included. If you would like installation, please contact our office during normal business hours and we can provide you with installation information.
